Continuing with the multiple strands of my career, I paint portraits and still life in oils and acrylics, create mixed media abstracts based on natural forms, mythology and legend.
Using Photoshop, I develop my photographs into kaleidoscopic designs, which are then printed on to canvas.
I have also been completing my “scrapbook” journals of a trip to India 4 years ago with a group of artists led by Meryl Ainslie. On this journey I accumulated lots of photographs, drawings and memorabilia, which have now been distilled into four volumes. This project has taken me six months to complete, which is why I am not participating in any exhibitions this year. I plan to back on the radar in 2012!
